Planned Infrastructure: Google Cloud
Sportzal is designed for scale. We plan to deploy our production AI and backend services on Google Cloud.
Architecture Overview
Our platform is designed for reliability and performance. The planned Sportzal ecosystem consists of:
- Mobile Application: Native experiences for iOS and Android providing the user interface and camera capture capabilities.
- Backend Services: We plan to deploy our core API layer, business logic, and databases on Google Cloud. This target infrastructure will ensure high availability and low latency.
- AI & Machine Learning: We plan to utilise Google Cloud's AI capabilities for serving our planning algorithms and form analysis models.
- Storage: Secure cloud storage will handle user training logs and data.

AI & Form Analysis
Sportzal uses advanced computer vision techniques to track joint positions and motion patterns in video.
This raw data is transformed into high-level form assessments (e.g., detecting hip shoot or knee cave) and then converted into simple, actionable coaching cues for the user.

Security & Privacy
We take data protection seriously:
- Data will be encrypted in transit and at rest.
- We plan to rely on the robust security certifications of Google Cloud infrastructure.
- We are committed to GDPR compliance. Users will retain full control over their data and can request deletion at any time.
